Please kindly provide the following information to help us find the perfect nanny for you:

Policies & Procedures

These policies are designed to promote fairness, safety, and professionalism between families, nannies, and the agency.

  1. Placement Policy
    • Placements may be short-term or long-term, depending on the family’s needs.
    • The agreed duration of employment must be confirmed before the nanny begins work.
    • If the family is not satisfied with the placed nanny within the first 7 working days to 1 month, a free replacement will be offered.
  2. Hiring Policy
    • All nannies are registered, background-checked, and trained before placement.
    • Families are matched with nannies based on their specific needs and preferences.
  3. Payment Policy
    • A non-refundable R500 placement fee is required before a nanny is assigned.
    • Nanny service payments must be made before the nanny begins working.
    • Late payments will incur a R50 penalty fee.
  4. Communication Policy
    • Families must communicate schedules and any changes in advance.
    • Major concerns or decisions must be discussed with the agency first.
  5. Conduct & Privacy Policy
    • Nannies must be treated with respect and professionalism at all times.
    • If surveillance cameras are installed in the home, the nanny must be informed.
  6. Safety Policy
    • Families are expected to provide a safe and abuse-free working environment.
    • Nannies are responsible for the child’s safety; however, families must give clear instructions and provide necessary tools.
  7. Working Hours Policy
    • Working hours must be agreed upon before placement.
    • Any overtime must be discussed and approved in advance.
  8. Conflict Resolution Policy
    • In case of conflict or dissatisfaction, the agency must be notified before any action is taken.
    • The agency is committed to mediation and finding a fair and peaceful resolution.
  9. Loan Policy
    • Families are not obligated to lend money to nannies.
    • If lending is agreed upon, the arrangement must be communicated to the agency and documented in writing.
  10. Termination Policy
    • A minimum of one week’s notice is required for termination if the nanny has worked for more than 7 months.
    • Immediate termination is permitted in cases of gross misconduct, safety violations, or breach of contract. Such cases must be reported to the agency immediately.
  11. Confidentiality Clause
    • Any personal or contact information shared between the agency, family, and nanny must remain confidential and be used solely for work-related purposes.
